The LTX M/S2 is Michelin’s Highway All-Season light truck tire developed to combine long tread life with all-season capabilities for vans, pickups and sport utility vehicles, as well as for commercial vans, shuttles and chassis cab vehicles using light truck tire sizes. The LTX M/S2 is designed to combine a smooth, quiet ride with year-round traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including in light snow. Compared to the original LTX M/S, the LTX M/S2 is an evolution in looks…and a leap forward in performance.
The LTX M/S2 molds a long wearing, silica-enhanced all-season compound into a tread profile featuring Michelin’s MaxTouch Construction to produce a contact patch that promotes reliable traction and long wear by evenly distributing acceleration, braking and cornering forces. A symmetric tread design of stable independent tread blocks featuring high-density 3-D Active Sipes delivers all-season traction on dry roads and in inclement weather. Four wide circumferential channels, multiple lateral grooves and open shoulder slots promote lateral water evacuation to enhance wet traction and stopping performance.
The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts (three steel belts in Load Range D and Load Range E sizes) to provide the strength and durability needed to handle heavy loads.

Michelin LTX A/T2
The LTX A/T2 is Michelin’s On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire developed to meet the needs of today’s recreational and commercial pickup, van and SUV drivers. It was designed to provide even wear, low noise and good fuel efficiency, even in demanding commercial applications while delivering the year-round traction and durability expected from rugged off-road tires without forsaking the on-road comfort and handling expected of a Michelin tire.
The LTX A/T2 features an advanced light truck tread rubber compound molded into an independent tread block tread design featuring Michelin Biting Edges (notched blocks in the tread pattern) that enhance traction on dirt, mud, gravel, wet grass and snow. Michelin’s Advanced MaxTouch Construction results in a unique tire footprint shape that allows for long-lasting, even treadwear while their Comfort Control Technology uses computer-optimized design and precision manufacturing to reduce vibrations and road noise to deliver a comfortable ride. The tire’s internal structure includes two steel belts (Load Range D and Load Range E sizes add a third steel belt) to enhance durability and tread puncture resistance.
Michelin Latitude Tour
The Latitude Tour is Michelin’s Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickups looking to combine comfort, wear and fuel efficiency. Most Latitude Tour tires meet Michelin’s Green X standards for long tread life, good wet traction and low rolling resistance, as well as provide year-round traction, including in light snow.
Latitude Tour tires use a silica-based tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design optimized with Michelin’s MaxTouch Construction to deliver more miles of treadwear. Stable shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib enhance responsiveness and highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning and multiple sipes provide biting edges in snow. Latitude Tour tires also feature Michelin Comfort Control Technology that combines computer-optimized design and precision manufacturing to reduce vibration and road noise. The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts under the tread area on top of a polyester cord carcass that enhances ride quality.

Michelin Cross Terrain SUV
The Michelin Cross Terrain SUV tire is a premium highway all-season light truck tire designed to complement the way most Americans drive their sport utility vehicles. The Cross Terrain SUV tire was developed to combine the looks of a light truck tire with the low noise and ride comfort associated with a luxury car tire.
The Cross Terrain SUV features a silica-enhanced tread compound molded into a tread design optimized for car-like ride comfort and responsiveness in dry, wet and wintry conditions. The tire’s sidewall offers rugged good looks to complement the vehicle’s image while its continuous shoulder tread ribs maximize wear qualities while minimizing noise levels. Full depth, interlocking zigzag sipes are integrated into the tread design to provide the extra biting edges that enhance year round traction and driving confidence in light snow. Internally, the Cross Terrain SUV features twin steel belts, a two-ply polyester cord body and Michelin’s Bead Tension Structure to increase ride comfort and provide predictable handling.
Michelin Latitude Tour HP
The Latitude Tour HP is Michelin’s Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of premium crossover and sport utility vehicles. Used as Original Equipment by Acura, BMW, Lexus, Porsche and others, Latitude Tour HP tires are designed to combine comfort, handling and all-season traction, even in light snow.
The Latitude Tour HP features an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric pattern that helps balance dry, wet and wintertime traction. Michelin Latitude Sport
The Latitude Sport is Michelin’s Street/Sport Truck Summer tire initially developed for Original Equipment (O.E.) use on some of the world’s most prestigious high performance crossover and sport utility vehicles (Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg). The Latitude Sport is designed to deliver world-class dry and wet road traction, handling and cornering but like all summer tires, it is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
Latitude Sport tires share the asymmetric tread pattern and dual tread compounds of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 Max Performance Summer tires for passenger cars. It features a hybrid silica/carbon black compound that begins at the tire’s outboard shoulder and continues across the tread to enhance dry traction where a high-silica compound continues to the tire’s inboard shoulder to enhance wet traction. Large outboard shoulder blocks along with continuous intermediate and center ribs enhance steering response and cornering stability while wide circumferential grooves and lateral notches help channel water to enhance wet road traction. The tires’ internal structure includes two high-tensile, steel cord belts that are further reinforced by size-optimized, precisely placed individual aramid/nylon hybrid filaments that resist tire distortion to provide high-speed durability and enhanced ride quality.
Michelin 4X4 Diamaris
The 4×4 Diamaris is Michelin’s Street/Sport Truck Summer tire that provides their highest level of wet and dry traction for luxury sport utility vehicles. Michelin XPS Rib
Highway Rib Summer light truck tires are for drivers who want a combination of heavy-duty load capacity, even wear and low noise along with traction on dry and wet roads. Sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on medium and heavy-duty 2WD trucks, vans and pickups, Highway Rib Summer tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
O.E. Highway Rib Summer light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.
Michelin XPS Traction
The XPS Traction is Michelin’s On-/Off-Road Commercial Traction tire developed for the drivers of heavy-duty pickups and utility vehicles looking for on-road capability and off-road jobsite confidence. Designed to endure the rigors of commercial use, the XPS Traction delivers year-round traction on pavement, gravel roads and rocky terrain, as well as in mud and snow.
The XPS Traction molds a cut- and chip-resistant compound into a symmetric tread design to combine toughness and wear with traction and durability. Open shoulder grooves and independent tread blocks enhance traction in off-road and wintry conditions.
The tire’s internal structure includes steel belts on top of a heavy-duty steel casing to enhance puncture resistance, highway stability and retreadability.
BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A
The All-Terrain T/A KO (“KO” for Key benefit On- and Off-road) is BFGoodrich’s On-/Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire developed to meet the needs of pickup truck and sport utility vehicle drivers who want confidence and control on and off the road. The All-Terrain T/A KO was designed to deliver go-anywhere traction along with outstanding durability and great wear.
The All-Terrain T/A KO features an aggressive, computer-optimized, high-void, all-terrain pattern with interlocking tread blocks and innovative siping to provide traction and handling without generating excessive noise. “ShoulderLock” upper sidewall traction bars maximize aired-down performance by provide the clawing action necessary to develop traction and steering control in deep dirt and sand. The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts on top of BFGoodrich’s TriGard (3-ply polyester cord sidewall plies) construction for strength and durability. Single strand beads (a single strand of bead wire is continuously wrapped multiple times until the desired strength is provided) enhance the tire’s fit to the wheel to improve uniformity and ride quality, while rim protectors molded into the lower sidewall help shelter wheels from off-road hazards, especially during aired-down operation.
NOTE: While most BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires meet the industry’s severe snow service requirements (and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol), selected tires do not. BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A
The Rugged Terrain T/A is BFGoodrich’s Highway All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of jeeps, pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles looking for versatile tires that can work during the week and be ready for a little adventure on the weekends. Designed as a tire option that fits between mild Highway All-Season on-road tires and more aggressive On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tires, the Rugged Terrain T/A combines a bold off-road appearance along with on-road appeal by blending aggressive looks with pleasant ride qualities, low noise and year-round traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions.
The Rugged Terrain T/A radial’s symmetric tread design features alternating width, wraparound shoulder blocks that extend onto the tire’s upper sidewalls to generate traction on loose surfaces, while small tread-cleaning bars molded at the bottom of the shoulder grooves help eject gravel and dirt. Two large central circumferential grooves and multiple lateral grooves evacuate water to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. The tread design features variably sized elements whose shapes and sizes have been computer-optimized to reduce pattern noise as the tire rolls against the road.
The tire’s internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced by BFGoodrich’s Equal TEnsion Containment (ETEC) System that spirally wraps nylon above the steel belts for extra toughness in all terrains. A two-ply polyester carcass is used to assure a smooth ride.
BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2
The BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 (KM for Key feature: Mud traction and 2 identifying it as BFGoodrich’s 2nd generation KM tire) is an Off-Road Maximum Traction tire developed for off-roaders driving full-sized, lifted trucks that participate in rock climbing and/or other challenging off-road driving. The Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 is designed from the mud up to overcome almost any obstacle in its path by combining more traction and mud-clearing ability than its predecessor with a smoother ride and less road noise than normally expected from an aggressive tire.
The Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 molds an off-road tread compound into a Krawler T/A KX-inspired symmetric design that features deep, self-cleaning independent tread blocks and linear transverse flex zones that provide the elasticity needed to allow the tire to conform to off-road obstacles when aired-down and driven at low speeds.
The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts and BFGoodrich’s Krawler TEK sidewalls and carcass. Krawler TEK consists of three components that include aggressive sidewall lugs, cut- and chip-resistant sidewall compounds and BFGoodrich’s TriGard carcass (three-ply polyester construction) with sidewall cords that are up to 33 percent stronger than the previous Mud-Terrain T/A KM tire. These advancements allow for more bite and sidewall protection along with increased strength and resistance to bruising caused by rocks and rough trails. While Off-Road Maximum Traction tires are branded with the M+S symbol and able to churn through deep snow, their typical oversize applications and the absence of snow-biting sipes in their large smooth lugs can challenge their on-road wintertime traction on packed snow and icy surfaces.
BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM
The Mud-Terrain T/A KM (“KM” stands for Key benefit Mud traction) is BFGoodrich’s Off-Road Maximum Traction light truck radial designed for pickup and sport utility vehicle driving enthusiasts looking for race-proven, off-road performance.
